Monday 14^th May – Start of end of year SATS for Years 2 -6
Friday 18^th May – PTA Cake Sale at 3.20pm
Monday 21^st May – Healthy Schools Week - As we will be doing lots of physical activities, the children can come to school each day in their PE kit – shorts and T shirt, plus track suit trousers and top, if the weather is cooler.
Tuesday 29^th May – Music Festival for Year 3 – further details have been given to Year 3.
Thursday 31^st May – Jubilee Day (see this Newsletter)
Thursday 31^st May – Induction Evening for new parents of Reception intake for September 2012.  Letters have already been forwarded to prospective parents.
Friday 1^st June – School closes for half term and re-opens on Monday 11^th June.

The PTA have recently funded the purchase of fruit trees for an orchard in our re-organised environmental area at the rear of the school.  This week they were planted with the assistance of Richard Lowe, our parent gardener.  Each class planted a tree and in addition an eighth tree was planted by Imogen and Lewis Grant in memory of their brother Jordan.  We plan to get a plaque and a bench to record the memory.  This orchard will now be known as 'Jordan's Orchard.'
